As I, Umer Abdullah, embark on my journey towards becoming a Chartered Accountant and pursuing my Bachelor's degree at the Islamia College of Science & Commerce Srinagar, I cannot help but reflect on the pivotal role the Kashmir Education Initiative (KEI) has played in shaping my academic and social trajectory. My association with KEI dates back to 2019, a significant juncture following my completion of the 8th-grade examination. It was then that I became a part of this transformative initiative, a decision that has profoundly influenced my life ever since.
One of the most notable transformations I've undergone during my time with KEI is my evolution from a person plagued by stage fright to one who confidently expresses themselves. Through various workshops, seminars, and mentorship programs offered by KEI, I have honed my communication skills and cultivated the confidence to articulate my thoughts and ideas effectively. Moreover, KEI has been instrumental in fostering a supportive community wherein I have had the opportunity to interact with like-minded individuals, exchange knowledge, and broaden my perspectives.
As I continue to pursue my aspirations in academia and beyond, I am forever indebted to KEI for its unwavering support and belief in my potential. Indeed, it is through the collective efforts of initiatives like KEI that individuals like myself are empowered to realize their dreams and make meaningful contributions to society.
